We have been going for 29 years this year with next year being our 30th anniversary, we were originally a 3 day event, but for various reasons we are now only 2 days with the Friday of the last full weekend of November each year being our Firebrace Street party where the street is closed to all motorised traffic from 5pm until 10.30 - 11pm and we have static displays from various clubs and groups to promote their cause along with side shows and musical entertainment from local bands and sometimes special guests. We attract a crowd of between 5-7000 people depending on the weather.
The second day of the festival is devoted to our New Years eve party which is held at May Park where we get between 700 - 1000 people attend for a very entertaining night of local musicians and games for the children to participate.
